Lithium Battery Power
Lithium Battery Guides
Six pages on choosing and living with a lithium battery, written for the moment somebody is about to spend money: voltage, amp hours, charging, and what actually separates one pack from another.
What is here
Six guides from Lithium Battery Power on choosing a lithium battery. How to match voltage and amp hours, what a BMS does, sizing a bank for a trolling motor, what holds up in marine service, house power for an RV or van build, converting a golf cart, and how to compare brands honestly.
Why these are here
Most battery pages are a specification sheet with a buy button attached. That is fine once you know what you want. It is no use at all in the hour before, when the real questions are whether 36V means three batteries or one, whether the charger in the garage will work, and why two packs with the same number on the wrap cost so differently.
Each page below answers one of those, using what Lithium Battery Power publishes about its own batteries rather than a general article about lithium.
What Lithium Battery Power does
LBP designs and builds high output lithium battery systems from Clearwater, Florida, and has distributed more than 25,000 batteries worldwide. The range covers 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V, with chargers, trolling motor kits, the Powerbox and custom builds alongside the standard sizes.
The applications run from trolling motors and boat house banks to RV and van builds, solar storage, golf carts, commercial and industrial equipment, and communications systems. Every battery carries a Battery Management System, and the packs are built with premium cylindrical cells.
How to use these
Start with the guide if you are still deciding on voltage and capacity. Go straight to the application page if you already know what you are powering. The comparison page is the one to read if you are choosing between brands and want to know which questions actually separate them.
If your setup does not fit a standard size, the custom side of the business is worth a call before buying anything.
Questions about these pages
Who wrote them?
They were written from what Lithium Battery Power publishes. Voltages, cell chemistry, the series and parallel limits, the IP rating, the cycle life range: all of it came off the company’s own pages. Anything without a solid answer was left out rather than filled in with a number that sounded about right.
Why is there a page comparing two brands?
Because that is the comparison people are actually making, and most versions of it online are written by whoever wants the sale. This one carries only figures Lithium Battery Power publishes about itself. The other column is left as the questions worth asking, not filled in from a review somebody else wrote.
How current are they?
Each page carries the date it was last read through. Specifications change, and the pages change with them.

LBP builds custom packs as well as shipping standard sizes, and the team will size a bank to the boat, the cart or the rig before anything is bought.
